Kilglass National School was full of excitement on Friday as past pupil Brian Duffy arrived to the school with the Connacht Minor Cup.  A big thank you and congratulations to Brian Duffy, Paul Henry and John Paul Carden who gave of their time and talked to all the children throughout the school.  It was a great occasion for the school to be able to mark what was Sligo’s first Minor Connacht title since 1968; a journey which captured the hearts of the Sligo sporting public during the summer.  We heard about Brian’s two great points against Roscommon and penalty in the All Ireland semi final against Meath.  Brian encouraged the children to get outside, practice their football skills and have fun – enjoying every single minute of it.
