A big thank you to everyone for joining us for our Christmas Plays. We had a fabulous two days and were treated to superb performances.
Ms Duffy’s Junior and Senior Infants set the ball rolling with a lovely production of “A Miracle in Town”. This was followed by Mrs Meeneghan’s First and Second Class who staged “Pirates vs Mermaids”, they filled up the stage with great colour, costumes and creativity. Ms Brogan’s Third and Fourth Class put on a spellbinding dráma “Rudolph agus an Nollaig” with fluency and panache. More classic fare was whipped up by Mrs Lynott’s Fifth Class and Sixth Class who enacted the musical “Cinderella Rockerfella” with a twist on the traditional fairy tale. Lots of energy, excitement and enjoyment was in evidence in all of these productions. Well done to all the children; you were fabulous!
Thank you to Róisín Kilgannon from Music Generation for all of her enthusiasm and efforts. Mrs Mulhern, Ms Loftus, Martin Walsh and Colette Egan who are invaluable members of the crew performing a myriad of roles tying the whole school effort together.
A big thank you to Geraldine Gordon for all her help with the construction of props and the painting of backdrops for our plays. A big thank you is extended to Ben and Brendan Henry for building the stage.
