A big thank you to Kilglass National School Parent Association who purchased fantastic maths resources for the students in the school.  The Prim Ed Maths Box series is a set of seven boxes of cards, one for each class from Infants to Sixth.  These will be a great support in the teaching and learning of mathematical skills and concepts. Each box covers the strands of Number, Algebra, Shape and Space, Measures, and Data.  The timing of their arrival dovetails excellently with our Whole School explicit problem solving focus / programme which we are embarking on at the moment from Mid-term Break in Term 2 to Easter.  We are really grateful to all the parents for their fundraising efforts which adds such richness to the children’s learning.
