This morning we were nervous and excited as we hopped on the bus to Skreen for the Mini-7s Quarter Finals.  The winner of Kilglass / Calry / High Park would go on to the semi-finals so there was a lot at stake.

For the first game, we watched as Calry had a comfortable win over High Park.  We were Calry’s next opponents, if they won, they were through.  Cillian opened the score-line with a goal from a free kick.  Our teams were well matched – it was a close game all through.  We were thrilled to be out on top by 1-2.  Scorers: Cillian 2-2, Rian 1-0, Eoghan 1-0

Following a tough win against Calry, we were quite confident against High Park.  We had a comfortable victory to secure our place in the semi-finals.  Scorers: Cillian 0-2, Rian 1-0, Eoghan 3-0, Luke 0-1, Bran 1-0, Oran 1-0
