St. Brigid’s Day was a day of fun and celebration.  The children gathered together in the morning for a lovely assembly where songs, poems and drámaí were shared between the classes. Some of the stories and legends surrounding St. Brigid were regaled and “We Sing a Song to Brigid” was sung by all.  Our vibrant assembly was followed by a session where the children made lots of St. Brigid’s Day Crosses.
