As part of our Greens Schools Travel theme, our application to have our lovely new bicycle 10 space toast rack and shelter was successful and installed during the summer months.

A big thank you to Ciarán Hussey our Green Schools Officer who facilitated a Berry and Wildflower workshop with Ms McDermott and the children in Sixth Class during the week.

Walk to School week is fast approaching. The dates are Oct 7th to Oct 11th.  We encourage children to Park and Stride on National Walk to School Day on Wednesday October 9th.

Fourth Class Nature Walk

Fourth Class explored the local area as part of our Green Schools with Ms. O’Meara and Mr. Brennan. They observed the local flora around our school and did drawings and rubbings creating their own nature books.

Green School Walk

Senior Infants and First Class had a lovely Autumn Walk as part of Green Schools.  Lots of leaves, trees and blackberries were discovered along the way.
