The school football teams have been in full swing this term.  The girls played Calry N.S.  The girls played with great determination and solid teamwork and showed great sportsmanship throughout the game.  Despite their best efforts the girls were defeated on the day.  They now move into the Shield Competition with our next game against Enniscrone N.S.

The boys team had better fortune against Calry N.S.  Coach Mrs Lynott was delighted with their performance which she described as a “battle of the titans”.   Their next outing was against Rosses Point in the semi-final with Mrs Lynott attributing their win to being “strong in defence and accurate in attack”.   The boys play the final in June, date and venue to be confirmed.  Go n-éirí an t-ádh leo!
