Well done to Aoibhinn, Aoife, Kahu and Seán who performed superbly for Kilglass National School on Tuesday in the second of our Concern Primary debates against Scoil Mhuire gan Smál, Ballymote.  We were proposing the motion “Shopping local must become the new normal”.

Building on the experience of our first debate with Shay, Thomas, Lauren and Charlie and after lots of great effort in preparation Aoibhinn, Aoife, Kahu and Seán emerged as victors after the delivery of their speeches and refutes on the day.

Thank you to Scoil Mhuire gan Smál for two great debates.  Our next team will now turn their attention to our next debate against Sooey National School where we are opposing the motion “Sustainable cities should have free, regular, public transport available to everyone”.
