Kilglass NS Creative Advisory Group.
An Buíon Ildánach is a group of children representing the overall pupil cohort in Kilglass NS who were convened on a pilot basis in March 2025. These children, in conjunction with Ms. Brogan, are working to support the development of creativity in our school.

Our aim is to ensure that children have a voice in all matters creative, that their ideas/opinions matter and are listened to and that they feel empowered in decisions related to creative plans within our school. These intrepid committee members are tasked with gathering information, ideas and opinions from their classmates and will be involved in organising voting and making choices on behalf of and with their peers. They are also recording/ noting places and occasions where creativity is evident with our school community.

We are endeavouring to implement the Lundy Model of allowing children space, voice, audience and influence, developing cultural and participatory citizenship while attending to the wellness within our school community.
