Thank you to Garda Tara Regan for talking to the children from Junior Infants to Sixth Class about Road Safety and the Safe Cross Code. She explained the importance of sensible and responsible patterns of behaviour in order to stay safe crossing the road. This was followed by a practice drill with all the children. Thank you to Counsellor Joe Queenan who sponsored our new Safe Cross Code sign and Sligo County Council who painted lines to demarcate a Pedestrian Crossing outside the school and lined new car parking spaces.
