Lá Fhéile Bríde was celebrated across the school today.  The lovely song “We sing a song for Brigid” was a lovely musical backdrop in the school as Junior and Senior Infants sang with sweetness and gusto.  Many classes were busy making St. Brigid’s Day Crosses which will provide great protection to homes and farms where crosses are hung in her honour.  Many children left out a Brat Bríde last night which endows it with special curative properties to ward off illness and pain in both humans and animals.  Lovely traditions to see celebrated.
