This week we were investigating levers. A lever is a simple machine. It consists of a bar which turns about a pivot. Levers can be used to lift heavy weights or change the direction of a force. When you push or pull one part of a lever you make a push or a pull on another part in the opposite direction. A seesaw is an example of a lever. We made dogs with waggly tails with stick out tongues. See our some of our creations below.
